Akaria Natural Capital is an impact-first fund management company that invests at scale in natural climate solutions that sequester carbon and mitigate climate change through conservation, restoration and improved management of forests, mangroves, peatlands and oceans throughout Southeast Asia. Our goal is to drive both positive climate impact and sustainable, long-term financial returns that are shared equitably between investors and communities. Akaria Natural Capital was founded in Singapore in 2022 by Chief Executive Officer Gary Addison and Chief Impact Investment Office Simon Chadwick. Our founding partners are Schroders, a leading global asset management firm with over 20 years sustainability and impact investing experience, and Conservation International, which has been 'fighting to protect nature for people' since 1987.
