ZSEAL SINGLE COMPONENT POLYURETHANE GROUT (mainly smaller leaks) Description: Zseal Single Component Polyurethane Grout is a hydrophobic grout based on MDI polyurethane. It has a very fast reaction time when it comes into contact with water; it starts to expand very quickly and creates a stable impermeable mass which stops leaks within a very short period of time. As a single component product no catalyst is required and the product can be injected by grouting pump directly from the container, however reaction times might be too slow for heavy leaks. ZSEAL POLYURETHANE GROUT WITH CATALYST (heavy leaks) Description: Zseal Polyurethane Grout (PU) with catalyst is also a hydrophobic grout based on MDI polyurethane, but comes with an additional component in the form of a reaction controlling catalyst. Zseal PU combined with varying amounts of the catalyst can react immediately when introduced to water and expands in volume by up to 30 times its’ original volume to create an impermeable, stable foam plug. Zseal PU is 100% solid and solvent free. Reaction time can be controlled and adjusted by the addition of Zseal catalyst, however caution must be taken by new operators otherwise the application grouting pumps can become blocked.
