The Koa Collective is a community and network designed to allow individuals on career gaps to flourish, feel fulfilled and have life redefining moments. The Koa Collective was founded by Suvi Chi and her team in 2019 with the aim of connecting, inspiring and supporting people on career breaks. The Koa Collective hosts events to connect people on career breaks to each other to share experiences, make memories together and provide peer support. We also publish a monthly newsletter - with recommended books, events and podcasts; and share tips and thoughts along the way. Career breaks happen for a variety of reasons from individuals taking time to pivot or transition in their careers, to those on sabbaticals or even unfortunately as a result of burn out or redundancy. Whatever the reason, the Koa Collective was founded with the belief that career gaps can be an incredible time for personal development and growth.
