To undertake research which contributes towards formulation of National Economic Policy and strategies. To translate national economic policies / strategies into action by short, medium and long term business models, through formulating private sector initiatives for the development of national economy and corporate growth. To establish collaborative networks between national and international communities, institutions and stakeholders in ensuring the quality and relevancy of initiatives for the achievement of national economic policy/ strategies. To build professional competencies and capacity building for Malaysian research and beneficiary institutions in economic policy analysis and research. To provide a platform to promote knowledge dissemination, shared research findings through exchanges, engagements and dialogues. To monitor the effectiveness of economic policies implementation.
