Laboratoire d'Optique Appliquée (LOA, UMR7639) is part of Institut Polytechnique de Paris and unites scientists from ENSTA-Paris, École Polytechnique and CNRS. Its research activity covers a broad spectrum of science in the field of ultrafast lasers and their applications: development of intense laser sources, laser-matter interaction and plasma physics, production of compact sources of energetic radiations and particles, multidisciplinary applications of these sources.
