COMETA, "Consorzio Multi-Ente per la promozione e l'adozione di Tecnologie di calcolo Avanzato", is a no-profit research centre founded in 2005. It's a consortium made up by public universities and research institutes and private enterprises. COMETA is devoted to promote and coordinate studies and research in the field of High Performance Computing, Grid, Cloud and GPU Computing, in their theoretical aspects and applications.
