Carrie is an experienced Certified Professional Coach and Human Resources leader who partners with those who seek greater balance and satisfaction in their lives. She's also passionate about helping people avoid and recover from burnout and find space in their lives to cultivate their careers, creativity, connection and confidence. She earned her CPC (Certified Professional Coach) and ELI-MP (Energy Leadership Master Practitioner) certifications through iPEC, accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF). Carrie has also been practicing yoga for more than 25 years and specializes in teaching classes in mindfulness-based Yin, Restorative, Yoga Nidra and Hatha traditions. Additionally, Carrie is a Reiki Level 2 Practitioner and certified Yoga of 12 Step Recovery Leader and is experienced and passionate about working with people throughout all stages of their recovery. A graduate of The Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, Carrie brings a non-traditional, eclectic approach to her coaching and HR work. After launching her career as a copywriter at TBWA/Chiat/Day Advertising and gaining experience in PR and marketing, she helped to launch the Community Management practices at Yelp and Google, ran the Philadelphia branch of the world's largest creative staffing firm and led talent acquisition, employee relations, training and development efforts for some of Philadelphia's top advertising, digital and branding agencies. Carrie is one of the founding organizers of DisruptHR Philadelphia and has served on the board of AIGA Philadelphia; she also speaks frequently on People Operations topics, and was a Thought Leader at the 2018 Pennsylvania Conference for Women. In her free time, she enjoys meditation, yoga, hiking, travel and spending time with her best friend, the television.
