Vision of Helping the Helpers Citadel founder Phil Friesen comes from the corporate world and understands how business incubators help launch and grow small businesses with strategic assistance. He recognized that this was exactly what the nonprofit sector needed. Since 2013 Citadel Ministries has been faithfully helping ministries, schools and a variety of nonprofits startups (over 100 a year) achieve improved results by helping them from the inside out. Growing to meet the need Citadel Ministries began in the back office of a small church and has grown to three offices from Fresno to Sacramento and no shortage of need on the horizon.
