AMAZONAS EDUCATION & TRAVEL (formerly Amazonas Spanish School) is an umbrella organization specialized in Spanish courses, volunteer programs and trips in Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. We are the official Spanish School where de Diplomats of the US Department of State take their immersion Spanish programs in Ecuador. We are leaders in teaching intensive Spanish courses in Ecuador (one to one and small group classes) in the following locations: Quito, the Jungle, the Coast and the Galapagos Islands. Our main school is located in the heart of Quito's commercial-touristic district (La Mariscal). Students can choose from General Spanish courses, Medical Spanish courses, volunteer programs or Spanish courses for executives, Spanish & Soccer, among others. Students can take from 20 to 35 hours of classes per week. In order to provide a truly "Full Spanish immersion experience”, we carefully screen Ecuadorian families and arrange home stays for interested students. Our families are located near the school, in very good and safe neighborhoods of Quito. The family will provide a private room, 3 meals a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner), laundry service and the best opportunity to practice the language with native speakers and share our Ecuadorian customs.
