Prairie Food Co-op will be a community-owned grocery store featuring organic, local, and sustainably produced food, including produce, meat, dairy, seafood, a large selection of bulk foods, and other groceries. We will be committed to providing transparency about food production, origin, and processing via clear, easy-to-understand labeling. Prairie Food Co-op will be committed to helping make good, healthy food accessible to those on limited incomes thru a variety of excellent food accessibility programs. Prairie Food Co-op will help build a vibrant local community by offering space for workshops, classes, meeting, and other community gatherings. Prairie Food Co-op will foster conscious consumerism thru food related workshops and educational classes. The classes offered will be in direct response to input and feedback from owners and the community.
