Eggleston Steel Ltd was established in 1809 and is proud to be one of Derby's oldest family owned companies. We have earned a reputation amongst our customers for excellent quality and service at a competitive price. We stock, process and supply a wide range of mild steels and non-ferrous metals. Whilst most of our customers are based in the East Midlands, our central location in Derby allows us to provide our services throughout the UK. In 2015 we added two Trumpf lasers to our profile department. These machines complimented our existing high definition plasma profiler which with it's additional Oxyfuel head can cut up to 250 millimetres. Customer service is at the heart of everything we do and our accolades are testament to that. We have achieved following accreditation:- ISO 9001 Quality Assurance since 1996 CE Marking for Factory Production Control (FPC) to execution level 4 (if requested) since July 2014 We have achieved our ISO14001 Environmental standard. Part of the move towards reducing our carbon footprint, we have changed to LED lighting throughout our entire site and installed 288 solar panels which have the ability to return unused electricity to the National Grid.
