Susquehanna Valley Council of Charitable Gift Planners
www.svccgp.orgWe are a local chapter of the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners which is based in Indianapolis, IN. Although SVCCGP is not limited by geographic area, our membership is composed of professionals primarily from eight counties in south central Pennsylvania: Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry, and York. Our mission statement (adopted November 1992): Susquehanna Valley Council (SVC) of Charitable Gift Planners will provide a network for colleagues to exchange ideas and services with opportunities for professional education. The council will provide an organized voice to raise consciousness about planned giving among donors and their advisors. Our current activities are organized around three primary functions: 1.To provide ongoing education and information to professionals in the field of planned giving. 2.To promote the concepts of charitable planned giving, such as making gifts through estate plans or wills, to the general public. 3.To provide a forum for professional networking and ongoing development.
