SciSection is the #1 Science Show being produced from the center of the campus at McMaster University in, Ontario, Canada. SciSection aims to bridge the gap between individuals who may not be exposed to the same information as those studying sciences. Science is not just about chemical titrations or DNA transcription - nor is it only for that one character who wears an Einstein shirt in all those TV shows. From time to time we tend to forget that all the sciences are being studied for the betterment of us as a global population! Therefore, we can learn and apply it to our day to day lives. Sci-Section is a place where we talk about various applied aspects of science, something that everyone can actually relate to, whether they love science or hate it. We have officially been on air for two years now, and been able to spread a wealth of knowledge about science and also partnered with other organizations such as the 'Hamilton Child Health Conference', 'FORGE competition', and 'Women in STEM conference' to connect more to our audience. SciSection has grown across social media platforms, such that now it has more than 5000 followers, making it one of the most followed pages at McMaster University! On our show, we have been honoured to welcome guests from different fields of science and medicine, such as Dr. Jennifer Young (The president of the Ontario College of Family Physicians) and Dr. Santa Ono (President and Vice-Chancellor at UBC), Dr. Feridun Hamdullahpur (President and Vice-Chancellor at the University of Waterloo), and more.
