We have two simple aims: 1. Give grants to primary schools in Sussex to fund the Adopt a School programme. This delivers high quality food education directly to the children of our community. 2. Give grants to Hospitality Action who in turn provide financial assistance and a range of support services to people within the hospitality industry who have found themselves in difficulty or crisis. Why do we do this? Childhood obesity has more than doubled in the last 10 years. 1 in 3 children leave primary school overweight or obese. We believe that educating children about food will lead to better decisions about their eating habits in later life. We also want to promote the hospitality sector as a viable career post education. All the trustees within Table Talk Foundation have a love for the hospitality sector. We feel it is important we support members of the sector when they need us the most. Charity number: 1190504
