MØY wants to create a universe that supports all genders, a keen mind and where compassion is praised. A universe where the brave, the cultured and the feminine are celebrated in all forms. MØY’s debut collection consists of 16 stand-out models of oversized sunglasses handcrafted in Japan. By merging ancient Asian jewellery making techniques with influence from the music and avant garde art scene of the 70’s, we have created four trademark shapes. Named after their personalities; Nobody’s Darling, Sense of Sonder, Erudite and Naked Heart. The colours are carefully chosen to reflect the MØY mood; flamboyant, warm and inviting. Made of the unique combination of 12 k gold-plated metal, nylon lenses and fine acetate – it seeks to create weightlessness and elegance. A half rim seamlessly attaches to a thin gold bridge, equipped with adjustable nose pads for a custom fit for all face shapes. A gold embellishment on the inverted side of the temple reveals the signature MØY logo.
