Founded in 1958 as Peuchen, Inc. to make liquid chillers for the budding plastics industry, the company was merged into GC Industries in 1981. Today, we are a unit of Scientific Systems, the parent corporation of four companies in the HVAC and temperature control industries. Our chillers are built to customer specifications and help to streamline production cooling processes, maximize personnel safety, and protect materials and equipment from damaging heat. Industrial chillers work by refrigerating water and other coolants and pumping them through discrete manufacturing equipment. We offer both portable chillers, which are mounted on casters, and central chillers, which require fixed installation, to accommodate various industrial applications. Customers can choose between air-cooled or water-cooled chillers depending on their facility's requirements, and our chiller capacities cover a comprehensive range of temperatures. Each of our products is completely assembled and ready to install upon delivery for customer convenience.
