We educate the public; advocate at state, local, and national levels; and through collective action we mobilize community, engage in capacity building, and advance community wellness and prosperity. We envision a world where all trans, nonbinary, and gender expansive people – are valued and celebrated; – fully participate and thrive in all areas of society; – actualize our full potential and self-determination to shape the future. MTPC values: Trans Leadership Accessibility Collective Liberation Power Sharing Transparency Humility Empathy MTPC works to improve the lives of all MA trans, nonbinary and gender expansive communities by 1) organizing trans people to advocate for themselves; 2) developing leadership within trans communities through community education; 3) educating the pubic, media, & institutions about issues facing trans communities; 4) educating policy makers about the needs of trans communities; & 5) advocating for equal access through policy changes at all levels.
