BusPas offers an innovative and scalable technology deployed at bus stops to support the development of an integrated, smart and shared mobility. The SCiNe ("sign") deployed at bus stops is a data hub and link between the immediate environment in which it is located and a secure cloud service. It brings transit agencies closer to their users on public streets. This solution firstly increases riders perceived quality of the service thanks to real-time information, enabling waiting time optimization for everyone, and reducing complaints and frustrations related to delays or buses that do not pass. Secondly, this system aims to make spaces safer, especially for vulnerable populations, thanks to a security light that turns on when a user is detected waiting, two microphones, two loudspeakers and a camera that provides monitoring and intervention capabilities. Thirdly, thanks to on-board sensors, this display becomes a data generator for public transit planning and operations, as well as for the city's urban planning services. Finally, the BusPas technology allows the development of an ecosystem of applications on its open and scalable framework. These are integrated into our cloud system called "ORA" which manages the deployed equipment, collects, controls and secures all data flows. While offering these functionalities, BusPas guarantees compliance with GDPR and PIPEDA standards in order to protect individuals and their privacy.
