Vanessa Castañeda is an Art Director and Photographer with a background in the fashion industry. Vanessa holds a B.A. degree from UC Berkeley and an MFA degree in Photography from School of Visual Arts in NYC. Vanessa Castañeda has exhibited her work at the Power House Books Arena in Brooklyn (summer 2008), The ISE Cultural Foundation in SoHo (Summer 2009), Red Bull Space in SoHo(Fall 2009), Food & Beverage Museum in New Orleans (2010), The South Street Seaport Museum in NYC (2012), and the Station Museum of Modern Art in Houston, TX (2012). Among other awards, in 2008 she was a semi finalist in the Adobe Achievement Awards. In 2009 She was a nominee for the NY Photo Festival and was awarded first place at the Neo Pop Realism International Art Competition. Vanessa is co-founder of E&V Weddings, a wedding photography company based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Vanessa continues to collaborate on assignments as Art Director and Photographer, she is fluent in Spanish and currently works at Levi’s in San Francisco.
