The USFL is a fan-first major American professional spring football league that delivers exciting, fast-paced, physical, and competitive football. There are eight teams split into two divisions –– North and South. Each team plays a 10-week regular season schedule, with teams in the same division playing each other twice and teams in the other division once. With a 2-week postseason, the top two teams in each division play against each other in the USFL Playoffs followed a week later by the USFL Championship Game. The inaugural USFL regular season kicked off on April 16, 2022 and ended with the Birmingham Stallions winning the USFL Championship on July 3. Season 2 begins April 15, 2023. The USFL is the first major professional spring football league to complete a successful first season and play a Season 2 in nearly 40 years. We remain United By Football.
