The Wisconsin Institute for Sustainable Technology (WIST) is in the College of Natural Resources at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. WIST was founded in 2010 to create a fresh approach to meet today’s environmental and economic challenges. WIST provides research, laboratory services and outreach education to help businesses and organizations accomplish their goals in ways that make more sustainable use of natural resources. We connect the expertise of university faculty and staff to business and industry. Technology and ideas developed by WIST and its partners will spur sustainable economic growth in Wisconsin and the region and help preserve a healthy environment for future generations.
