The Indian River County Sheriff's Office (IRCSO) is located in sunny Vero Beach, Florida. We are a public service facility providing a range of services for a county with approximately 160,000 community members and a lot of visitors . The IRCSO employs more than 500 employees who provide a full array of services to the community. The Sheriff's Office mission is to serve the public by enhancing our partnership with the community to protect life and property, prevent crime, and solve problems. The Sheriff's Office will also provides a correctional facility with the highest degree of security to ensure the safety of the citizens, staff and inmates.
