Pemco Lighting Products has been designing and manufacturing high quality lighting fixtures, poles, and accessories for over one hundred and thirty-five years. The company was first started as "The Philadelphia Electrical Manufacturing Company" - "PEMCO" - in 1882 and for over 100 years was a diverse manufacturer of a broad range of lighting fixtures and poles, for both indoor and outdoor use. In 1993, the assets were sold and a new corporation was formed with its headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware. For the past 20 years, products have been redesigned and upgraded to meet today's standards in efficiency, design integrity, and quality. Also, during this same period, many products that were popular in the 1920's, 30's, and 40's have been reintroduced with modern lighting sources, superior finishes and UL/ETL/CSA listings. Old iron castings are now replaced with aluminum, new optical systems have replaced inefficient ones, and we now offer contemporary, traditional, and vintage products.
