AfrikaBurn is the registered Not For Profit company that organises the annual AfrikaBurn event - a Burning Man regional - in the Tankwa Karoo, Northern Cape Province, South Africa. The event encourages radical self expression, creativity and self reliance, in line with the 11 principles that inform its culture. In addition to the annual event, the organisation stages a number of other events through the year including Decompression, Equinox and ParkOff. The company also engages in year-round Outreach projects that assist communities in need, in both the Northern Cape and in the Western Cape and greater Cape Town region.
