Ducky is a climate mitigation company which has a platform to encourage and motivate people to change their behaviours to reduce their carbon emissions footprint. There are three parts to what we do: 1. A unique and detailed carbon footprint calculator to track how our lifestyle impacts the planet. 2. A gamified climate challenge where participants compete with their peers to change habits and reduce their footprint. 3. A custom development service which can be used to integrate CO2 emission calculations with company products, apps and websites. Ducky has developed a digital toolbox built on principles for positive climate communication and science-based climate data from NTNU. The Ducky team is driven by passion and dedication to a common goal: a sustainable future for everyone. We are multi-disciplinary with expertise in environmental ecology, web design, programming and climate communication. Ducky is a ‘profit for good’ company – backed by a non-profit foundation – which was formed in 2014 to address the climate crisis and threats to the environment.
