The Restos du Cœurs, created in 1985 by the famous Coluche, help thousands of people in Belgium every year. But ... what are the Restos du Cœurs? In addition to the 670,000 hot meals and 250,000 food packages distributed each year, the Restos du Cœurs take part in the educational monitoring of children in precarious situations. They also work with educators to support people living on the streets. They also offer services such as libraries and spaces to help people learn about computers and allow them to look for work. Housing assistance, such as the provision of social housing or the poste restante and health care assistance are other facets of the association. Not to mention parent support through which care, clothing for up to 5 years and food are distributed to young parents and their infants. And all thanks to you! The Belgian and French Restos du cœur are two distinct associations that have no link and operate independently.
