The company came together in 2005 by owner Nate Cook, a licensed clinical social worker who started Positive Progressions, which offers counseling and therapy services. In 2011, the owner bought the company Northern Inc. and together the two organizations combined adding complementary services. Northern Inc. is an independent provider of the home and community based services waiver program providing habilitation opportunities to adults and children with developmental disabilities and acquired brain injuries. We are state licensed and CARF accredited. We offer: two day habilitation facilities, numerous community living homes and residential living homes. We provide activities, recreation and social functions. Each participant is unique with their wellness goal, we help each of them individually and as a whole reach goals and thrive independently and within the community.
