In Shetlandic, “Voar” means “the Spring of the year”, a time of new beginnings. Voar Energy exists to unlock major Energy Transition project potential in Shetland, through deep understanding of existing infrastructure, environment, and community. Almost 50 years of major project experience in Shetland has shown that local knowledge and technical expertise is key to de-risking project delivery in the Isles. Our goal is to drive great long-term outcomes for our community, and to ensure the success of major new energy projects at 60 degrees North.
