Toybank - Development through Play is a prime project under The Opentree Foundation, which is a non-profit organization that promotes at-risk children's mental well-being, social-emotional development and learning through its Play2Learn Program. Our Play interventions focus on keeping at-risk children on track with their mental and behavioral development to enable them to become life ready. Our carefully-curated Play2Learn Sessions impacts 56,000+ children at 400+ Play2Learn Centers in 12 districts across rural and urban Maharashtra on a daily basis. Safe and happy spaces along with learning promote their cognitive and social skills, decrease drop-out rates and alleviate anxiety and depression. These improve their future outcomes and help them grow up to be healthy and well-rounded adults. At our Play2Smile Centers, in collaboration with hospitals, Play2Learn Sessions reduce stress and anxiety in children undergoing treatments.
