Lynx was officially founded in 1995 and is made up of researchers and experts with experience in projecting and achieving multimedia online and offline tools, in university and school research labs as well as within companies working in this field. Lynx’s contact with research, in particular in the didactic field, has always been important: apart from the stable relation with various Italian Universities, Lynx participated and still takes part in European projects (Commons for Europe, CitySDK, EGOS, DEAL, LALERA, Flachi). LYNX uses only Open Source Software Since 2000, releases its products under the General Public License This means being part of a large community of developers who care about the spread of free software, safe and honest becouse transparent.
