KUMI is certified as a CBE/DBE/MBE in the District of Columbia. The firm holds a number of other DBE/MBE certifications with public agencies including: MWAA, WMATA, MDOT, WSSC, PennDOT, New York State, and Prince George’s County, MD. KUMI has 34 employees, which include professional engineers, construction inspectors, CPM schedulers, claims analysts, constructability reviewers, QA/QC managers and cost estimating specialists. KUMI specializes in the delivery of cost effective construction management, CPM scheduling, cost estimating, claims, constructability reviews, QA/QC, and inspection services on a wide variety of projects for the design and construction of primary and secondary roadways, bridges, transit systems, water/wastewater facilities, and utilities and structures in the transportation, healthcare, educational, and recreational arenas for public, private and government agencies. KUMI is also experienced with providing services which meet LEED certification standards, as well as working to preserve the aesthetic and historic integrity of structures and facilities.
