A+ World Academy is a boarding school on the oldest active fully rigged tall ship in the world. Our fully accredited university-prep program offers standard courses as well as AP® courses and the AP® Capstone Diploma. In addition to preparing our students for continued university studies, we offer an environment that stimulates personal growth. Through unparalleled interactions with peers, teachers, and people from around the world, our students obtain global insight that no other school can offer. A+ World Academy is demanding, and not for everyone. Our students not only attend classes, but they take part in sailing the majestic Sørlandet. They will be given challenging chores, but they will also gain experiences that they will benefit from later in life. As part of a crew that needs to work together for a year, our students will learn not only about sailing and seamanship, but also about cooperation, leadership and teamwork.
