Mission: To ensure empowerment and growth for youth and families by partnering with our community to provide direct services and linkage to individuals in McHenry County Vision: A collaborative community that provides equal opportunities, resources, and support to all individuals in McHenry County Goals: To create a unified sense of community that is inclusive and safe allowing all stakeholders to thrive and grow together To increase access to the tools and opportunities that lead to increased quality of life To empower children and families to contribute, support, and grow Programs: The Youth Program expands the range of choices and opportunities that equip, empower and encourage youth to achieve positive growth and development, improve expectations and capabilities for future success, and avoid and/or reduce risk-taking behaviors. The Adult Prevention Program provides adults throughout McHenry County with the opportunity to improve their skills and to improve their capacity to access the different resources available in McHenry County and the surrounding area. The Service Navigation program improves participants’ knowledge of and ability to access community resources by supporting them in navigating the complex systems of mental health, substance abuse, education and other community institutions.
