EVO Elektroheizung („EVO“) is a manufacturer and distributer of premium smart electric heaters. The group produces in Mietingen near Ulm/Germany and is active across the whole country with a 70 people strong sales-force as well as 10 mobile service teams. 30 staff members guarantee a smooth customer journey from production, to call-centre, to administration. In addition to Germany, the EVO Group is active in 7 other European countries. The company was founded in 1974 by Erwin von Ow and hence has been active on the German market for over 40 years. During 2015, Markus J. Schmidt took over the firm and runs the day-to-day business. EVOs decade-long experience with smart electric heating, the multitude of patents it owns in this area, the rapid adaptation to state-of-the-art combined with an outstanding customer service have made EVO a hidden-champion in this area.
