Mahoosuc Land Trust
www.mahoosuc.orgEstablished in 1989, Mahoosuc Land Trust’s mission is to conserve and share the Mahoosuc region’s important natural lands with our communities, now and for the future. Working primarily in Central Oxford County in Maine and eastern Coos County in New Hampshire, for 31 years MLT has engaged the public on a growing base of natural lands. These include 13 preserves, 4 Androscoggin River canoe landings, and our flagship Valentine Farm Conservation Center. We inspire residents and visitors of all ages to use and care for our lands through diverse nature-based activities. We own approximately 2000 acres and hold conservation easements on 11 properties totaling 6500 acres. The trail counter at our Step Falls Preserve registered over 10,000 visitors in a recent summer season.
