Communities In Schools is the nation's largest dropout prevention organization working in public schools to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. We are first and foremost, advocates for children. We work with other entities to address the root causes of academic failure, including poverty, lack of health care, child abuse, homelessness and domestic violence.
