Founded in 1954, CSMEDI is a subsidiary of CITIC Engineering Design and Construction Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the world's top 500 China CITIC Group. CSMEDI is one of the five major municipal design institutes directly under the Ministry of Construction. It has a comprehensive Class A qualification for engineering design, a comprehensive Class A qualification for engineering surveys, and a Class A qualification for urban and rural planning.
