Amma is a Glasgow-based charity that supports vulnerable individuals during pregnancy, birth, and beyond. Our trained team of nurturing and compassionate birth and postnatal companions offers support on a voluntary basis to people facing pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood alone. Our companions offer one-to-one emotional and practical support during the perinatal phase, which is complemented by peer support activities, education and advocacy. Our mission is to improve birth, pregnancy and postnatal outcomes for vulnerable individuals.
