Engagement and communication around climate change has never been so important. Translating thought, into talk, into practice, is at the epicentre of Climate Outreach's mission. From academia, to policy, industry and public bodies; Climate Outreach is working to overcome the barriers to engaging with climate change and reverse the creeping ‘climate silence’. We focus on developing new audiences and communicate sustainable climate outcomes in a positive, proactive way. Climate Outreach looks to offer legitimacy to our partners, to innovate action-oriented learning, to reach people who would not consider themselves ‘environmentalists’. This unique position – connecting researchers and practitioners – allows us to translate academic knowledge and tailor it to the needs of a wide range of audiences. Through research, consultancy, training, and workshops, we disseminate the most effective methods of communicating issues around climate change, helping negotiate a successful path to an inclusive, low-carbon future.
