Licence Ready was founded by Sunder Chalasani in December 2011 with extensive research and development in the following years before the launch of Licence Ready learning app in 2013. The Licence Ready Learning App was designed with the knowledge that today’s learners could more effectively prepare for their provisional licence test and increase effectiveness of face to face driving instruction, if a blended learning environment could be established, and easily executed. Licence Ready establishes the required preparation from the learner before a driving lesson and gives them the ability to revise theory in a self-directed manner; in effect reducing the number of face to face paid lessons required by the learner.
