BWCF educates and advocates to make communities more walkable, bikeable, and rollable. We strive towards a connected and equitable transportation system that is safe and comfortable for all. BWCF initiatives include the Best Foot Forward Program and the Bike 5 Cities event. The Best Foot Forward program is the largest pedestrian safety initiative in the country that focuses on behavior change between drivers and walkers through engineering, enforcement, education, and evaluation of crossing data. Bike 5 Cities is a 28-mile regional bike ride is for bicyclists of any age, experience, or ability level. It’s for those who want to discover where to comfortably ride their bikes through these five urban cities — whether it’s through a neighborhood, down a local trail, or to a shop, restaurant, or park in one of the five cities.
