Kesälukioseura ry (Summer High School Association) is an ideological, politically and religiously independent association founded in 1965 to provide alternatives to traditional high school education. Each year, in approximately 20 summer high schools in Finland and abroad, high school students study theoretical and practical subjects as well as arts. Kesälukioseura also organizes courses on native language and culture to children and youth of refugee groups living in Finland. Kesälukioseura receives funds from the Ministry of Education and Culture and STEA.
