Swiss Who’s Who is the recognised reference on influential people in all fields and the only tool of its kind in Switzerland. This 2022 edition contains about 1,500 biographical notices of which 300 new profiles have joined Swiss Who’s Who from the previous edition. In 2015, starting from a blank canvas, we reintroduced Who’s Who to Switzerland after a 20-year absence. It was a challenging exercise but, convinced of the legitimacy of our initiative and the need to reunite Swiss talents, influencers and decision- makers in one authoritative tool, we delivered an ambitious and successful first print edition. The present edition continues to apply those principles vital to a serious Who’s Who publication: (1) a rigorous selection, (2) a diversity in the profiles represented, (3) a verification of the information to the fullest extent possible, (4) a standard format for each entry, (5) the mention of contact details. Swiss Who’s Who is neither a short-lived magazine nor a list of celebrities. It is equally a dictionary of our notable contempo- raries, a communication and public relations tool, a selective address book, a photograph of Switzerland and proof of the country’s diversity and dynamism. Quite simply, the aim of Swiss Who’s Who is to promote leading figures from each corner of our country who, in their respective fields, shape the Switzerland of today and tomorrow.
