RAL has been organized as an open-source studio dedicated to a systematic exploration of new design tool, materials development and targeting design innovations in architecture, We strongly believe that creativity falls within a fine borderline between order and chaos [edge of chaos and bring digital data out from 2-D screens and turning our imaginations into physical forms. RAL develops design skills with which to capture, control and shape a continuous flow of information across the electronic networks. We are engineering design fabrication tools, technologies, and structures aiming to enhance the relation between natural and man-made environments. We seek to find and generate new kinds of design and mathematical processes of material behavior at the reaction between Computer science, Material science, and design across multiple scales.
