Into The Light International has accepted and takes the mandate of caring for orphans and widows seriously. We believe in a world where helping and loving those that have been oppressed will bring hope, light and change to many lives that are living in darkness. Join us as we set out to fulfill the mandate, as we follow Jesus’ example. Join us as we set out to defend, bring justice and a harmonious society to orphans and widows around the globe. Once orphans come of age, they are sent out into the world with only the clothes on their backs. This is anywhere from 14-18 years of age depending on the country.  These kids are now on their own to fend for themselves with no training or preparation. Through our program Five14, we provide aged-out orphans with a chance to alter their futures by transitioning into a life of independent living and self-sustainability. Widows are a byproduct of a world where disease, war and famine exist.  This group of women did not ask to become widows and probably never imagined a world, in which the word widow would be attached to their identity. Widows today don’t need a handout; they need someone to give them a chance to earn an honest living. Our program Two19, reaches out to widows in local communities around the globe and provides them innovative ways to earn money.  We do this is by providing a safe working environment where widows can come and make or create things using their experiences as a homemaker, wife and mother.
