CHWAR is a non-profit organization that advocates to strengthen the profession and leadership of Community Health Workers (CHWs). Dedicated to advancing the workforce through advocacy, development, building standards, and establishing CHWs as integral members of health reform innovations. CHWAR believes in promoting recognition for all CHW's as professionals, building collaboration between CHWs, Health & Human Service agencies. Educating and increasing community awareness of the importance and benefits outreach and the role CHW's play in improving public health. Our association members are CHWAR's backbone and continued voice that motivates & inspires our purpose and drive. CHWAR is dedicated to its Community Health Workers, believing in all they do; how they do it and how very important they are to each and every community they serve.
