Swedish Specialized Center for Special Needs was founded to help and provide therapy for children with autism and their families. Here in the center, we believe that early intervention is the key to any child’s success. A younger child learns faster and more effective than an older child. Therefore, we always recommend families for early diagnosis of their child as soon as they suspect a developmental delay. We focus greatly on the role of families and their impact on the child. Any child spends most of his day with family members, and therefore it is important that the family learns how to deal with their child. Therefore, family members may join in the child’s sessions and learn new strategies and effective ways to teach their child new skills and behave in a socially appropriate manner. Other than autism, the center also focuses on treatment of other developmental delays such as Asperger’s syndrome, Down syndrome, speech & language delays, behavioral problems etc. We always welcome new children and their families for assessments and further evaluations. Swedish Specialized Center for Special Needs focuses on early intervention for children with special needs through different types of therapies. We offer different kinds of services including ABA therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Diagnostic assessments, as well as family support and training.
