The purpose of Mu Kappa Tau (MKT) Marketing Honor Society is to encourage and recognize scholarship and accomplishments among students within the marketing program; stimulate interaction and the exchange of ideas between members; promote the advancement of education in marketing; foster integrity in the conduct of a marketing career; and bring together faculty and students of marketing on a basis of mutual interest, understanding, and helpfulness. The AMU and APU chapter of Mu Kappa Tau was officially chartered with the university in January 2014. Mu Kappa Tau is an independent organization of American Public University System (APUS).
