Housed at Illinois Central College, our Training Center delivers in-service training to law enforcement officers in Peoria, Tazewell, and Woodford Counties. The objective of Mobile Team In-Service Law Enforcement Training is to encourage local and state law enforcement officers to upgrade their knowledge and skills in techniques pertinent to the law enforcement profession; to provide law enforcement officers with training opportunities within their own locality, and on flexible schedules; and, to provide quality training on topics of instruction centered on specific local needs. The Central Illinois Police Training Center is dedicated to providing the highest quality of training available to ensure professionalism amongst all Law Enforcement Officers with in its region. Goals and Objectives 1. Keep Law Enforcement Officers SAFE by providing them high quality training. 2. Keep the Public SAFE by providing LEOs high quality training. 3. To provide the most current and relevant in-service training to Law Enforcement Officers. 4. To keep new training technologies and equipment within the reach of the Agencies we serve. 5. Be ever-mindful of the responsibilities of being a good servant to the public and responsible with the funds entrusted to us.
