Cinema Scholar is an online publication, and YouTube channel, dedicated to the study of cinema. On the Cinema Scholar website you can find written articles relating to concepts in film studies and analyses of films. Alternatively, the Cinema Scholar YouTube channel provides video essays on similar topics. Cinema Scholar was founded by Zachary Xavier, who has recently graduated from the University of Oxford with a MSt in Film Aesthetics. He also holds a BA(Hons) in Film Studies from the University of New South Wales located in Sydney, Australia.
